What is it for?
The Aquapool Alkalinity Increaser is used to restore the total alkalinity of pool water. Maintaining alkalinity within the ideal range (between 80 and 120 ppm) is essential to prevent issues such as corrosion in metallic equipment, pH instability, water acidity, scaling, and consistently high pH levels. By adjusting the pool water's alkalinity with the Aquapool Alkalinity Increaser, you prevent equipment damage, maintain water balance, reduce scaling, and ensure a safe and healthy environment for swimmers.

How to use
1. Use the AQUAPOOL 3-IN-1 TEST STRIP to analyze Alkalinity. 2. To raise it, add 15g/m³ (15g per 1,000 liters of water). This dosage will increase alkalinity by approximately 10 ppm. 3. Pre-dissolve the product in a plastic container with pool water and apply it evenly over the entire pool surface. Pool use is allowed 30 minutes after product application. 4. Use the AQUAPOOL 3-IN-1 TEST STRIP for daily analysis of active chlorine levels, which should fall within the recommended range of 1 to 3 ppm. 5. Filter the water daily for a minimum of 6 hours or follow your equipment manufacturer's guidelines. 6. Vacuum the bottom and brush the pool walls at least once a week. 7. Use AQUASHOCK O2 AQUAPOOL weekly to keep the pool water always clear and crystalline in a practical and simple way.
