1 – Immerse the comparator cell and collect a water sample from approximately 30 cm deep, leaving the water at the level indicated on the cell; 2 – Add 5 drops of the Phenol Red indicator (red cap tube) to the cell tube corresponding to the pH; 3 – Add 5 drops of the Ortotolidine indicator (yellow cap tube) to the cell tube corresponding to Chlorine; 4 – Colocar a tampa na célula e agitar levemente para homogeneizar a solução; 5 – Compare the color of the solution obtained with the corresponding color standard scale in the cell, thus determining the concentration values (in ppm) of chlorine and pH.
